I don’t think your patriotism is on the right foot, Adam. All we have to do is enforce the term limits the Framers included in the Constitution.
Article I. Section 2.: Members of the House shall be chosen every second year. “Members” is all inclusive. No reelections provided for. Do Not Reelect any member of the House.
Article I. Sections 3.: Each State shall have two Senators, elected by the People thereof for six years. That is six years only. No reelections provided for.
Article II. Section 1.: Concerning a president and vice president: “He shall hold his Office for the Term of four Years, ….” This is a very powerful order from the Framers. “He shall hold his Office” clearly shows that only a man can be President. No Article V. amendment has been ratified to give women equal status with men. To vote, yes. Equal status, no. The rest of that sentence: “for the Term of four Years, ….”, tells us that “the Term” is one term and that its length shall be four Years. No reelections provided for.
All we have to do is preserve, protect and defend the Constitution from all enemies, both foreign and “domestic” by simply not voting to reelect anyone.
Our only other recourse is a bloody revolution. A constitutional convention is too risky with the current people in office. A ConCon could destroy the entire Constitution if the wrong people should gain control of the process.
Do Not Reelect Anyone, ever again! Is the sane and legal way to enforce term limits.
