Please read the following message that came to me in an email. I do believe that there is a failing
in the United States educational system. Real World History is not being taught as it really happened.
Worse yet, lessons learned are not being compared with events of the day. This must change.
People, we have to teach our kids that they cannot believe everything they hear and only a small part
of what they see. They must know what the risks are for their not being able to live the same quality of life
that their parents had when they were small. That the man now holding the office of President of the
United States believes that our Constitution and Bill of Rights are not right and that our country should
drastically change to be a country in which people that do not earn their way would not do without at the
expense of those that work and earn their own way.
Americans have always been know for helping folks that really need a hand up, but, not for supporting
people that do not attempt to help themselves. But, our government has been corrupted so badly that
more and more laws are being passed that benefit the freeloaders and penalize those that work in
the free enterprise system. Especially targeted are those that have achieved financial success.
Those that have achieved financial success are usually the ones that hire wage earners. Wage earners
that spend their money on goods and services that make our economy strong and allow it to grow.
History now tells us that President Clinton’s signing on to NAFTA was one big push towards the end
of our industrial base and the cause of our economical woes and large numbers of unemployed
Americans.
The students must know that our current president is way out of line and getting away with one injustice
after another and our corrupt Congress is letting him get away with his use of Executive Orders to bypass
them and pass laws in defiance of the Constitution.
Congress is in a high speed mode and passing hundreds of laws that, in so doing is making our government
bigger and bigger. Laws are becoming so numerous and complicated that it is already nearly impossible
for anyone to know them and respect them. History shows that this mode of trying to pass laws for
everything imaginable is a precursor to the collapse of a country. Setting the stage for those of a different
ideology to move in and take over under the pretext of offering the people of that country things that they
want badly enough to believe anything they hear. Not until too late do the people learn that they have been
duped. That their lives will now be hell and their futures glum to say the least.
Our children are the ones that will have the great burden of rebuilding our government and restoring freedom
in the United States. Remembering that freedom is very difficult to have and keep and knowing the general
laid-back attitude of young people today and their lack of knowledge, or desire to learn about what America was
founded for and from where the Founders were coming from when they created our Constitution and the
Declaration of Independence was written, separating America from England and the harsh laws and taxation
therefrom.
Talk to your students and make them understand that they must be well aware of historical events that
led to horrible experiences for populations of several countries under the control of men that had a better idea
for taking care of them and insuring that they would not want for things they need. It is not a function of
government to take care of people and protect them from themselves. When government does that the
people become slaves to it. People without guns are also slaves to government because they have no
means for protecting themselves from government run amok.

It is now more than 60 years after the Second World War in Europe ended. This e-mail is being sent as a memorial chain, in memory of the six million Jews, 20 million Russians, 10 million Christians and 1,900 Catholic priests who were murdered, massacred, raped, burned, starved and humiliated with the German and Russian Peoples looking the other way!
Now, more than ever, with Iraq , Iran , and others, claiming the Holocaust to be ‘a myth,’ it’s imperative to make sure the world never forgets, because there are others who would like to do it again.
