Hi Folks,
I have another opinion. I don’t think anyone is watching as monopolies are popping up in our country. One that appears to be of the worst kind is Monsanto. This is a multinational agricultural biotechnology corporation that appears to be doing some terrible things, and apparently planning to do even worse things, in order to perpetuate an ever increasing bottom line. Amongst those things is trying to gain control over livestock and plants that it genetically engineers.
They have apparently lost touch with reality as well as lost all moral understanding of humanity and their place within it. How can a corporation made possible by our Constitution and its included Bill of Rights lose sight of their obligation to protect and defend our ways of life, to continue the ability of citizens to work hard and achieve their American dream. Their profit planning seems to do just the opposite.
Recent articles have shown that their signature product, Roundup, a weed killer, which the company touts as environmentally biodegradable and not leaving residues in soil or groundwater that can spread its harmful ingredients over surrounding areas, has been proven to be wrong. Tests of deep groundwater and lands not treated with Roundup are showing that two dangerous ingredients found in Roundup are indeed not biodegrading as advertised and that they are showing up in deep groundwater and on untreated lands.
The main ingredient in Roundup is glyphosane and it and its companion surfacant are hazardous to human life. This is not good. We don’t see any outcry from citizens, USDA, or anyone but a few individual citizens that are alert and watching what is going on. Its time there is an outcry and a loud one by as many as possible. We do not need the elites and their big, greedy corporations diminishing human life to make profits and, in this case, perpetuating them through growing dependence on Roundup and on plants that are tolerant of its use.

Monsanto is rumored to have bought “Blackwater”. I have to ask why a huge chemical corporation needs to have an organization comprised of soldiers of fortune as part of its business model?
From what I have read, Monsanto is going to push GMO agricultural products and glyphosate-tolerant plants of every description down the throats of the World in order to grow their bottom line and grow a need for their products that will perpetuate itself.
In order to accomplish that goal are they going to use military like force to get it done? IF that is the plan, Monsanto needs to be reined in and broken up right now. We don’t need one company monopolies dictating how to live their lives by controlling the foods they eat and the way those foods are produced.
Roundup is Monsanto’s weed control chemical mix that contains glyphosate. Monsanto says that this product is biodegradable and that it leaves no residues in the soil that can be spread by ground water and wind. Well, this is starting to be proved not so.
Studies of water from sources below the groundwater level are found to contain glyphosate and air samples and samples of soils from land that has not been treated with Roundup are showing percentages of glyphosate that should not be there.
Ingestion of glyphosate can cause physiological problems of the not so good kind; the kind that we don’t want. Then the question comes to mind since the subject of “population control” has raised its ugly head, as to whether this might be part of a plan to eventually result in a stagnation of population growth through damaged human reproductive systems caused by persistent exposure to glyphosate and the surfacant (wetting agent) used to aid in its application.

I hope this provides food for thought and gets you to broaden your horizons of concern for the United States and for humankind in general. Monopolies are dangerous to us all and must be prevented at all costs. Monopolies are businesses that have been allowed to get too big and too powerful.
The definition of monopoly is: A situation in which a single company owns all or nearly all of the market for a given type of product or service. This would happen in the case that there is a barrier to entry into the industry that allows the single company to operate without competition (for example, vast economies of scale, barriers to entry, or governmental regulation). In such an industry structure, the producer will often produce a volume that is less than the amount which would maximize social welfare.
Keep alert and publish your concerns for all to read. We must stand united in our efforts to save America from the enemy within.
