Foreign countries failed at resolving the financial condition of their countries by raising taxes and imposing a value added tax (VAT) in addition to all other taxes. The increase in taxes did not help these countries improve their financial situation, in fact, their situations continued to worsen up until this time. Some are about to go bottoms up. We don’t want the United States to fail. We must encourage, or browbeat, our newly elected representatives until they are convinced that they should not support VAT; they should support the FAIR tax.
